Job Location and Development Program
Job Location and Development (JLD) is in part a federally funded program that seeks to provide financial assistance to students through employment opportunities. JLD is a component of the University Career Center that helps employers connect with currently enrolled UNC-Charlotte students who seek full-time, part-time, temporary, or summer off-campus employment opportunities that do not require a degree. The JLD program operates on a year-round basis. To learn more about the JLD program please click on the following links.

JLD employers can participate in on-campus recruiting opportunities such as conducting on-campus information tables and information sessions; these are great ways to interact with UNC Charlotte students and spread the word about the opportunities with your company. JLD employers can also participate in on-campus interviewing. We also encourage JLD employers to participate in our part-time job fairs held in August and February each year.
